Is it a fever if your normal body temp is 97.4 and your current temp is 98.2?
Yes, except that your normal body temperature isn't that low. You're probably using a store-bought thermometer which is not very accurate at all. Even 1 degree of temperature difference in the body is a lot more substantial than you think (it only takes a few degrees to have hypothermia so you'd be halfway there if that was really your normal temperature). Judge it based on how you feel. Are you dizzy, light-headed, shivering? You probably have a fever. Take some Tylenol to help with the symptoms.
