Why does "atheist" rhymes with "ra..pist"?

Say those words out loud. If you think that those rhyme, than you have either a speech impediment or you never learn how to speak properly. Also that's a very rude thing to say about people just because they do not believe in your religion. I think it's funny how they have all those pedophile jokes about priests and what not. You never really hear the media correlating atheism with a rape.
