UGH, Quite confused. ANSWERS :))?

Okay, so this guy and I were hooking up and liked each other. I started developing really strong feelings for him when he started ignoring me, eventually I got so sick of it I moved on and even hooked up with one of his friends. Later we rekindled and it lead up to a point where he told me we were "kindred spirits", how similar we are, along with his deepest darkest secret that not even his ex of two years knew about. Later he told me he didn't want to have a relationship with me, but he liked me and thought we had a lot in common. We talk sometimes and nothing really feels different. Next year he is going to be an RA in my building at college and I am on the hall board and working there. Should I even try or think anything of it? Advice on situation.
